About UsKirby, a career technology executive, has an extensive background in creating corporate solutions. He specializes in finding low cost technology solutions for companies. During Suria's recovery from surgery, realizing the extent of her injuries, Kirby and Suria were faced with having to renovate their home to accommodate Suria's disability. Applying his knowledge, Kirby automated their home using readily available, comparatively low cost, consumer electronics and not the high cost adaptive technology products catering to those with disabilities. What was the difference? They were given a quote to install a system to unlock the front door remotely. The quote totaled almost $18,000. Using items sold off-the-shelf at a large chain hardware store, Kirby installed a better system that does more at a substantially lower cost.

Kirby and Suria formed SunKirb Ideas to bring to others their experience and knowledge gained in solving their own challenges.
